👘 Ever bought a kimono and thought... "What is this, and how do I wear it?!" Or maybe you discovered (a little too late) that your gorgeous find was actually for funerals? Are you fascinated by kimono but have no clue where to begin? Reliable English resources hard to come by? This lecture is tailor-made for you! With 8 years of kimono study and 6 years as a professional kimono stylist, I’ve seen it all—and now, I’m here to share my expertise with you.

Kimono 101: Learn about the different types, levels of formality, and seasonal styles. Patterns & Fabrics: Dive into the meanings behind common motifs and materials used for kimono Perfect Pairings: learn what obi goes with certain types of kimono

And here’s the best part—it’s not just me talking for two hours straight! This lecture is interactive and hands-on. You can ask questions, (maybe also answer some for me!) see kimono examples up close and even try your hand at kimono styling!

DURATION: It’s a compact (but not simplified) workshop, packed with all the essential knowledge you need to start your kimono journey with confidence. Predicted time is about 120 minutes.
